Bayfield - Set Sail
Public Art display
Bayfield, Ontario – on the shores of Lake Huron
On display until fall 2023

The Bayfield Centre for the Arts created a wonderful opportunity for artists and for the public. 6 metal boats, forged by blacksmith Jim Wallace, have been placed around the town. Each boat with it’s own creative sail commemorating Bayfield history or nature.
My boat was listed as #5, found at the end of Howard Street at the top of the wooden stairs.
Artist info, the history of Bayfield, and the map of all the boat locations could be downloaded with interactive QR codes at each location. Maps were posted all around town.
