Two Trees, Together
Many of the trees I paint 'stand alone' and they are often apart from the forest and distinctively set out and apart from their surroundings. They are individual and bold ... and solo. But sometimes there are groups or pairs of trees that catch the eye. This particular set of trees is near the ocean in Parksville, BC. They are in the central park, a popular location to reach the beach and water. These two were are growing so closely together that from many angles they look just like one tree, and despite sharing such close space, they are both thriving.
